We  hired Lyndie Aquila Photography to do our maternity pictures and LOVED  the way they came out!! This is our first child, and we wouldn't trust  anyone else other than Lyndie to  take our pictures for us. She is professional, excellent with  communication, listens to her clients, and makes the entire process so  easy. Her energy at the photoshoot made it a fun experience. I don't  know how she does it, but she was able to capture the  sincere love between my husband and I in every picture. I have known Lyndie for several years as an excellent teacher, passionate about educating young minds. When she started Lyndie Aquilla Photography, I followed her progress and viewed pictures posted online. I was very impressed about her eye for beauty and style in both nature and portrait settings.
My son is a senior this year and I wanted some pictures of him and the family before he goes off to college. I hired L.A. Photography for this important moment in time. I experienced a refreshing level of photo professionalism and skill fueled by the same passion she exercised as a teacher. She navigated each pose and background perfectly with consideration for what we wanted while injecting valuable suggestions such as factoring available light and complementary positioning. The final results were amazing pictures that I could not be more happy with and that I will cherish in electronic and printed form for many years.

 Lyndie did an amazing job photographing my family, she captured my two boys (4 years old and 20 months) boys incredibly in all their various looks, moods, expressions, which was no easy task!  Yet, the photos came out showing us all loving, which was the goal. Lyndie is relatively new to family photography, but she made everyone feel comfortable and could not have been more patient with my boys, getting the best out of them while making it a fun experience.  Beyond the shoot experience itself, all surrounding interactions were professional and accommodating. In fact, she suggested a few locations and accepted my rejection of them all and still found a perfect spot for my family. From beginning to end, the process was smooth and the end result was fantastic! I cannot wait to work with Lyndie again.

Lyndie  has done two photo shoots for our family. One family photo session and one round of senior portraits. She did an amazing job with poses, giving direction, waiting for the perfect lighting and finding a unique place to capture the moment. I have two more kids that are soon to be seniors and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next.

Lyndie did a fantastic job on my son's high school graduation pictures. She was very professional, hard working  and went above and beyond what she needed to do to make them personalized to him. She provided many different photos to choose from which made it difficult for us to choose the best ones for his graduation announcements. It was definitely a good decision to use her for this special occasion.

Working with Lyndie was an amazing experience. I'm usually pretty awkward in front of the camera but she made my sister and I feel super comfortable and made the experience effortless for us. Whenever we asked for guidance, she walked us through poses and constantly checked in on how we felt about the lighting, background etc. She is such a kind and encouraging photographer which really shines through in the session because she's clearly aware of her client's goal and how can achieve that. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants precious photos to look back on;  whether you're a pro or a beginner in front of the camera.

P.S. She was me and my sister's 8th grade history teacher and yearbook adviser.. I am now a University of Michigan graduate and my sister is a freshmen at  Syracuse. It was so fun and cool to have her take our portraits. 

Having a photoshoot with Lyndie was so much fun. My sister and I asked her to take some graduation photos for us and they turned out better than we could have expected. Although we were not able to graduate in person with our classmates, Lyndie made this time so special for us and gave us some fond memories to look back on. If anyone wants photos to commemorate a memorable time in their lives, Lyndie is the best person to ask!
